Beautiful Rose Cards

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with cards created from some beautiful new Prima pattern papers - Rose Quartz.

This 6" x 6" paper pad has 30 double sided sheets in 6 patterns.  Included is a set of phrases that can be used for any occasion.  Simply use them as is or die cut them to fit your project.

I love the rose paper and wanted it to be front and center on both cards.  I placed it on top of the black print to create my card.  A bit of dimension was created by inking the edges of each piece with Walnut Stain Ink with a Ranger Ink Blending Tool.  I used one of the included sentiments, placing it on the card with foam adhesives.

I love the wood grain paper so I paired it with the rose paper for my next card.  This time, I die cut the sentiment and adhered it to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Prima has again provided a great pattern paper pack that creates some amazing cards.

Lawn Fawn Shaker Box Card

Hi It's Jennifer to show you how to put together this
Awesome and I mean Awesome and a must have for any
cardmaker die  the LF Scalloped Box Card.
So all the dies are in the packet and lots of embellishing
ones too that I didn't use. First I cut out two of the Box.
I also used the small layer die to cut out one of the larger
scalloped tops to make a window.

I cut 3 of the inserts.

Then I put accetate over it and my 3M tape
popped a few sequins in it.

I then created the background using 8.5cm x 10 cm

Then placing it over the sequins.
I then added a layer cutting two 5.3cmx 5.3cm and one
5.3cm x 7.9 cm

cutting two 5.3cm x 4.5cm and one 4.5cm x 7.9cm

I then used the layers from the kit this is the bottom of the box
and missed the pic for the top layer. I used
LF Winter Perfectly Plaid.

So you can see the shaker here and see where I have joined
the two pieces together.

I then taped each end of the inserts I placed them on the smaller
section equally apart.

I taped the joining piece on the end and if you lay them all flat
you fold the bigger section down and they all fit perfectly in the
 right spots.

this how it folds for a standard envelope too!

With all its layers on and you can see the shaker.

Then to decorate! I used Christmas as I like to do Christmas
Cards 2 a month so by the time I get to Christmas I have done
most of them. I used the Fabulous LF Cheery Christmas Set.

Love the way it come out. The sentiment is from
LF Big Scripty Words Winter.

Heartfelt Creations Watering Can with tutorial from Bev

Hi... it's Bev here today and I am super excited to share. I had a chance to create with amazing products from The Rubber Buggy. Here is a watering can project I made using Heartfelt Creations products from the store.  Below you will find a template and instructions for making this cute project.

Supply List:
Heartfelt Creations Products
Glue: Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive
Other: Spellbinders Labels 46 die, accents, beads, stickles, lace, ribbons, string
Template: see photo attached and original link:

Instructions:
Watering Can Project
Template can be printed and cut on 8.5x11” or enlarged to fit 12x12 paper for larger size. I enlarged the main base to fit 12x12 and estimated size of the handle and spout with adjustments to close in the pieces.

1. Using the templates trace and cut the pieces to your watering can.

Fold your watering can, spout and handle pieces.

TIP: to make the curvature on the upper lid edge of watering can I using the flower shaping kit to bevel the outer edge instead of adding the extra strip of paper. It worked perfectly especially with the high quality of Heartfelt Creations paper.

2. Using the Ornate  Borders & Pockets die cut in coordinating paper and apply to the upper lid section fitting into the rounded concave grove. If your making the smaller size watering can you’ll have decorate this section to fit the size your working on.

3.Using the Spellbinders Label 46 smallest die cut 2 of them to fit on the front and back panels under where you placing the sprout and handle section… for added d├ęcor.
4. The upper lid section on the outer sides need to be bend and glued into the outer edges.
5. Form your spout and handle ready to apply to the front and back panels. On the handle section I used a large stapler to add extra strength to it. Otherwise just glue it firmly. The spout was glued only.

6. Using the Border Essentials die I cut 4 of them and glued and cut them to fit the 4 bottom sides.

7. On top of this border I glued some thinner lace all the way around.

8. Next using the Wildwood Floral Dies I cut and layers some flower and added some accents to the centres. I also took print flowers off the Sun Kissed paper Collection and fussy cut both small and larger flowers to add to the shaped floral cluster  for the main section of the watering can.
I die cut both the bird and the butterfly from the Garden Romance die collection. I cut 2 of each so I could pop them up giving 3D look for dimension.

9. Now taking all the flowers, 3D accents and adding some beaded accents I started gluing on and clustering the main section.

10.  I die cut a few more flowers and also a leafy piece to accent the side of the spout.
11. I now went back into my stash to find a few more beads, stones, hearts etc to decorate the upper lid, the spout and a few more accents added to the main floral cluster.

12. Last but not least was the cute small clustered ribbons and bead accents is added to the back handle. Tie them off and glue the beads and your done.

Thanks for joining me today. Sure hope I inspired you to try making a watering can of your own.... If you do share your link in the comments to I can view your creations too.

Wedding Card and Tag

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here with a wedding card and coordinating tag.

Using the delicate Rose Frame from Tutti Designs, I die cut  pattern paper from Prima's Debutante 6" x 6" paper pad.  Due to the delicate nature of the die, I used Spellbinders Tool n One to help remove the die cuts and all the little bits.

I mounted the die on a panel of peach cardstock.  Then mounted the panel on a card created from Gummy Bear Bazzill cardstock.  Be sure to save the center piece for another project.

Using Spellbinders dies, I die cut ovals which were added to the center of the card and added a wedding sentiment.

To create the tag, I used a Memory Box stencil - Distressed Grid - on a tag inking it with Ranger Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

Next, I cut peach cardstock 5 1/2" x 2 1/2".  Using the Scor Pal Mini, I scored three lines at the bottom and top of the tag.

I placed the peach cardstock on the tag, then placed the left over middle portion of the die from the card on top.  Since the Prima paper pad is double sided, I used the other side.  Then I die cut ovals for the center and stamped a sentiment  on top.

May Arts sheer ribbon finished off the tag.

What do you think?
